United Way Summer Camps

Time | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Ages | Rising 3rd - Rising 6th Graders
Fee | $110 per camp (unless otherwise noted)

Members get a 10% discount. Please email finance@moultriearts.org to get your code. Scholarships are available for those who need financial assistance. Please click here to apply.

Camps include morning and afternoon instruction in art, music, theater, and pottery. Campers will go to the MCCPRA pool to swim Wednesday afternoon. Please bring lunch and a water bottle. Snack will be provided, but campers may bring an additional snack, if desired.

Daily Schedule:
7:45 AM | Early Arrival (must be approved)
8:00 AM | Standard Arrival
9:00 AM | Class Instruction Begins
12:00 PM | Lunch
3:00 PM | Snack
4:00 - 5:00 PM | Pickup

2026 Summer Camp Descriptions


Week 1 | May 26–29 | Drawing: Foundations | 4 Days | $95
Campers will build drawing skills by working from life, objects, and photographs. Students will explore line, shape, shading, and light while experimenting with various drawing mediums (pencil, marker, etc).

Week 2 | June 1–5 | Painting: Foundations | 5 Days | $110
Campers will be introduced to the color wheel and learn color-mixing techniques. Students will experiment with a variety of painting mediums while developing confidence and creativity in their painted works.

Week 3 | June 8–12 | Passport to Patterns | 5 Days | $110
Travel the world through art! Campers will explore how patterns are created and used across different cultures. Students will design their own unique patterns and translate them into multiple art formats and materials.

Week 4 | June 15–18 | Doodletoons | 4 Days | $95
Campers will bring their imaginations to life by creating original cartoon characters using multiple mediums. Students will dive into comics, cartoons, and storytelling while developing their own characters and stories.

Week 5 | June 22–26 | The Paint Lab | 5 Days | $110
In this experimental camp, students will explore a variety of painting techniques and styles. Campers will create both realistic and stylized artworks using different painting materials and approaches.

Week 6 | July 6–10 | Drawing From Life | 5 Days | $110
Campers will learn observational drawing techniques to capture still lifes and introductory figure drawing. Students will focus on proportion, movement, and detail while working from real-life subjects.

Week 7 | July 13–17 | Blueprint to Build | 5 Days | $110
Campers will explore architectural styles from around the world, including the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. Students will design and create their own architectural concepts using multiple mediums.

Week 8 | July 20–24 | Thinking in 3D | 5 Days | $110
Campers will think beyond the page as they design and build original three-dimensional artworks. Using wood, papier-mâché, and other mediums students will create and complete sculptures by the end of the week.

Week 9 | July 27–31 | Wild Lands and Watery Worlds | 5 Days | $110
Campers will explore both land and sea through drawing and painting. Students will learn techniques for creating animals, landscapes, and underwater scenes while developing imaginative compositions.
