Where Creativity Grows
The Arts Center of Moultrie will host “Reimagine: Contemporary Georgia Artists” exhibit This Summer
The Arts Center of Moultrie is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of only ten venues across Georgia to host Reimagine: Contemporary Georgia Artists, a traveling exhibition on loan from the Georgia Council for the Arts. This dynamic exhibit features works from the State Art Collection alongside pieces by regional artists, offering a fresh perspective on Georgia’s vibrant contemporary art scene. The exhibit will be on view from Monday, June 30 through Friday, August 8.
To celebrate this special occasion, the Arts Center in collaboration with the Georgia Council for the Arts will host:
- An Opening Reception on Monday, June 30 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM, welcoming the public to view the exhibit and meet members of the local arts community.
- Free weekly workshops for both adults and children, providing hands-on opportunities to explore different art techniques and connect more deeply with the themes of the exhibition. (Registration is required for each workshop, as space is limited.)
- A closing “Back to School” Open House on Thursday, August 7 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, featuring family-friendly activities, meet and greet with The Arts Center instructors, and a final chance to experience the exhibit.
